On this communistic tour we will go to see headquarters of the KGB at Lubyanka Square . We will discover hidden pages of the Soviet history from the Great October Revolution to Perestroika, from Lenin to Gorbachev.We will stroll along bustling Tverskaya Street, the city’s main thoroughfare, and see the Sluzhebny Vhod café and Eliseevsky Gastronum grocery store — both throwbacks to the days of communism.
We will also visit park , which was known in Perestroika times as the graveyard of Soviet monuments. Today it is final resting place of many Soviet sculptures (Lenin, Stalin, Brezhnev etc).
If you want we can go to VDNkH the most magnificent park of Moscow which features more than 250 Soviet-era palaces and pavilions, impressive arches and numerous fountains, Vostok rocket and the Soviet aircraft.
To dive deeper in the soviet past , we highly recommend Bunker-42 , Cold War Museum. You will explore the place where Khrushchev lived during the Cuban Crisis, go down 18 floors to a gigantic bunker under Moscow that was designed to withstand a nuclear attack.
